Gabriele Adomaityte (1994, LT) was a participant at De Ateliers residency in Amsterdam from 2017 - 2019. In her practice, she explores painting’s potential to question forms of visual representation. She paints from photographs, Xerox copies and many other forms of printed matter and addresses the amazing multiplicity of the visual world. Gabriele’s work was recently shown in solo and group exhibitions at De Ateliers, Amsterdam (2019), Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius (2018), Vartai Gallery, Vilnius (2019).
